mission is to provide the public with information

political and social impact of heroin use in the USA and beyond.

was founded in 1982 as a not-for-profit
resource center for individuals and families affected by chemical
dependency.We are currently committed to providing educational experiences
for recovery from heroin addiction, cocaine addiction and other
chemical dependency

Heroin
addiction is serious business. It is a bitch.
It is slavery of the mind, body and spirit.
 Here
at HeroinTimes
we take it very seriously.
In our pages you will find places we lighten up, poke fun, tell
a joke. You
will also find obituary notices of people dear to us. Please know
that no matter what we never intend to glamorize heroin or trivialize
it.
We
want to be that restaurant at the end of the universe with a warm
cup of coffee, a kind word and the phone number and address of a
detox program in seattle or a friendly doctor in Rome.
