The Telesis Foundation, the parent organization which publishes our humble magazine, is starting the first ever detox program in the U.S. which has no requirements other than a dope habit. No deposit, no ID, and most important no waiting period. Starting out in Los Angeles, they hope to open the ON-DEMAND detox program in every major city in the country over the next 5 years. They are starting out on January 1st, 2005 by taking 10 addicts a day. They will provide free detox from any kind of dope or alcohol. ANYTHING, FREE AND NOW!
On-demand treatment for drug addiction has been promised by both of the major political parties at one time or another over the past 30 years. This is a small beginning that we hope will grow to accomadate much larger numbers, eventually large enough to provide care for everyone who wants to get clean. Grow also to include meaningful residential treatment for all those who seek it.
