Harm reduction plus

Dear Sir, I'm the so called Founding father of the Dutch Unser Unions, and was even initiator and supporter of different user union all over Europe. I'm not a writer, just a pracmatical man. Please can you put some attention on Harm Reduction strategies, like User Unions, in Heroin Times. Maybe this will help a lot of us to survive. Thanks in advance, greetzzzzz

Withdrawel symptoms

Hi, my name is Charles Davidson and I have been taking opiates for chronic back pain for 8 years now. I take 40 mg of methadone along with 60 mg hydrococone per day and periodically must wean down and go through withdrawels so my tolorences dont build up and the drug becomes ineffective unless I incraese my dose. I am wondering if you know of anything that will help me with the withdrawel symptoms so I dont have to suffer so bad?

Detox Help in my area?

I have NO insurance, no savings & nothing left to sell or pawn. If I could get off this stuff I could make monthly payments. I went to my local hospital after phoning them & when they found out about my financial situation they told me they couldn;t put me in their program. I am at a loss of what to do. If you have any ideas I would greatly appreciate it. I talked to my parents & they told me to stop doing it. I became addicted when my doctor had me on oxycontyn for 4 years. Then his office just disappeared.( A patient stole a prescription pad & had a case printed up or so I found out when it was in the paper) Anyway I went thru 2 days with no oxycontyn & thought I was gonna die. Thats when I found heroin. I have brought it down to 1-2bgs a day but I can't seem to get off it. ANy ideas? How long do you have to feel suicidal before the withdrawl subsides? Thank you for your site.
