Cosmetic Surgery

I am planning to have some cosmetic surgery in the next few months. I am still addicted to heroin. If I have not kicked by my surgery date can I still have the surgery? Is it necessary to tell my doctor and anesthesiologist? I am worried they will treat me badly if I tell them.

I'm Butterfly, a sick sister looking to get well. I am a nonpracticing junkie. I am working on 6 months clean!! I lived in Portland,OR for 3 years on the streets, using.
"real" again

Im wondering, after you kick heroin, say 7-10 days later, and things begin to be "real" again, how much longer before your brain repairs itself and you feel pleasure, over lifes little things? i.e.(sex,food,a good joke?)

I couldn't stay clean out there, so I came back to Indy where my family is and am learning to live honestly and FREE. I never imagineded I could be happy without heroin, and I am working on it. It's not easy being clean, but it's a lot simpler than using!! I have to remember that every day that I wake up and take a breath.
I always thought I was free living out of my pack, able to go anywhere at any time, but never going anywhere but in a spirling circle that revolved around heroin.
Today I didn't lie, steal or hurt anyone. I did something for me today. I love me today!! As for tomorrow, I can only pray for the same!!
PEACE and BLESSED BE

~Butterfly~
