12 Step Soul Food for the Spirit

By the Grace of God and through the love of the people that he put in my life in Narcotics Anonymous, I have been clean since October 27, 1988. I am one who sticks to the basics of the program, My life today is SO AWESOME , it's Beyond my wildest dreams, so that is why I make meetings regularly, call my sponsor, try to apply the spiritual principles in my life and make myself available to the newcomers, who are the heartbeat of our fellowship.

I am not saying that getting clean and staying clean has been easy, this is a simple program, don't confuse simple with easy, I have lost my best friend to AIDS I have buried 25 other friends to active addiction, AIDS, hepititus and suicide, my father died, relationships have ended.
But its about not using "NO MATTER WHAT". I have so much gratitude for all of the gifts, blessings and miracles that God has given me. This is truly a "Journey without a Destination."
Gratitude is an appreciation with a sense of obligation, I HAVE NEVER HAD IT SO GOOD, so I have a responsibility and commitment to give back what was so freely and gratefully given to me.

My gratitude speaks, when I care and when I share with others the N.A. Way. When I say that I'm an addict named Scott, I am letting you know that I am a loser, who kept on trying and the people in N.A. believed in me and wanted to help me in my recovery. Thank you N.A. without you there would be no me.
continue... I spend much
