BRAIN NUTRITION AND ADDICTIONS

A substantial body of research shows that addictions of practically any sort - alcohol, medications, drugs, nicotine, caffeine, carbohydrates, sweets or other foods - are frequently the result of faulty brain chemistry.
Years ago French nutritionists Delore and Berry found that alcoholism increases in direct proportion to the consumption of refined bread and flour products. As Frenchmen switched from eating rustic, whole grain loaves to breads made with refined white flour, alcoholism escalated.
Eventually Delore and Berry linked the deficiency of B vitamins to the craving for alcohol. Areas of the world where beriberi (a nerve disease caused by a deficiency of thiamine, a B vitamin) is still common also have high rates of alcoholism.

Letter from "TFG" In reference to pain management regulations:
I have been suffering from an extremely infected tooth which had led to a long root canal due to intense pain.
The trouble I have had receiving pain medication (Opiod) has been too much for me; I arrived at an Emergency care dental facility in a mess of tears, I could hardly think! I paid $65.00 just to be seen, only to be told that the painkiller of choice was Prescription Motrin. I had to practically BEG for Tylenol w/ Codiene #3.
When I told the Dr. that even that was not helping and could he possibly give me Tylenol #4, he looked at me like I was about to shoot him in the head. I was made to feel foolish and like a Junky. I was given a prescription for 8 Tylenol #3 and sent home without a care. This is not the first time this has happened and I am sure not the last.
It seem that when you request Narcotic Pain Medication in some cases ans with many Dr. or Dentists you are treated with such contempt.
My question is why and what right does anyone have to tell me I am a Junky just because I am uncomfortable. These people don't know me or my history.
