A.C.L.U. Rulings in the U.S. affecting drug cases

Naltrexone

Dear HT,
I saw the article in your online magazine about the naltrexone injections.
You may not know, now you can recieve an implant of naltrexone which lasts for two months. I have this implant, and in conjunction with a solid twelve-step program, this has helped me start my sobriety. Granted, the implant is not a cure (there never will be). But, it has helped me over the first ninety days. Along with the recipient's willingness, the naltrexone can be a wonderful way to start a new life. To find out more search "Dr. Lance Gooberman" online.

Fibromyalgia

I am curious how many junkies are diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and the usual arthritis that comes with age, after they get some clean time. I used for over 15 years, including a few years with methadone, and now they say I have fibro. I haven't had a habit for 4 years and am also + for hep C., but not active Hep. The irony of needing pain killers after abusing them ....... Anyways, maybe there is no relationship at all. I was just curious

Apparently the latest treatment for heroin detox, a non-narcotic that treats W/D symptoms. Good luck and my best,
