t's been 20 days since the events in New York and Washington. The enormity of this tradgedy is still sinking in. We are on the west coast in California. There was the urge to go there and be some small part of the rescue and rebuilding efforts.
It seems trivial to say we are sad for our brothers and sisters who have perished and our brothers and sisters who live without their fallen loved ones.

The people who died were from many countries; they were every man; they were all of us. Life for all of us will be different from this time on. There will be more cameras watching us. There will be less freedom, there will be more fear. But perhaps just for a while.
