A Reminder
From Pastor Sam

Perhaps the greatest challenge, we, as recovering addicts face on a day to day basis is how to maintain our victory over our addiction.
Many answers come to mind immediately but we must be wise enough to realize that every answer is not the correct solution for everyone. Another way to express this truth is to accept the fact that even though we might be recovering from the same drug of choice, each of us must choose the solutions best suited for us as an individual. Even greater is the fact that I must resolve myself to the fact that whatever it takes to maintain my sobriety, I must utilize those aids for the rest of my life.

Trust and depend on the "Higher Power" to keep us sober
If we choose to relinquish the use of those tools, we will soon find ourselves headed back to Losers Boulevard and the sad thing is this street in nothing more than one filled with defeat and failure.
No one really wants to go back there again!
This alone is reason enough to keep practicing those things that helped to get us clean.

Now, there is one solution that works for every addict around the world and as a minister of the Gospel it is my duty to remind each and everyone of us that we should always trust and depend on the "Higher Power" to keep us sober every day of our lives.
He is more than willing to keep us than we are willing to ask Him, and believe me, He is able to help us through any crisis or temptation.
Phillipians 4:13 best expresses this truth - "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me".
Love Ya!
